Tullahoma Chiropractor : Dr. Lauren Ridgeway

I had migraines for years until...

Dr. Lauren Ridgeway assumed medication would always be a part of her life when she was introduced to chiropractic and it changed her entire approach to healthy living. Her excitement to pursue chiropractic as a profession began after her own chiropractic success in addressing her migraines and a history of childhood asthma.

Dr. Ridgeway graduated with highest honors from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in exercise physiology. In 2009, she graduated summa cum laude of her class from Western States Chiropractic College in Portland, Oregon. While in Oregon, she treated the public at a campus outpatient clinic and several chiropractic outreach clinics in downtown Portland. She has received further education in various chiropractic techniques and nutrition. Dr. Ridgeway is a member of the Tennessee Chiropractic Association.

Dr. Ridgeway enjoys a family oriented practice and is experienced working with patients from all ages. She is trained in treating sports injuries, car accidents and many conditions of the spine and extremities (including the shoulders, hips, knees, feet and hands). She incorporates physical and exercise rehabilitation, massage, stretching and nutrition to complement her chiropractic approach.

Although a native of Chicago, Illinois, Dr. Ridgeway fell in love with the beauty and Southern hospitality and decided to move and call Tennessee home nearly ten years ago with her husband, a native of west Tennessee. In her spare time, she enjoys playing sports, getting outdoors, hiking and photography.

The most important aspect of her work is to be a detective in determining the real source of the problem and a good listener in order to meet patients’ needs best. She looks forward to meeting people in the community and helping them reduce their pain and achieve health, wellness and a higher quality of life through a less invasive approach.
